A Great Big Brother
A few weeks ago, I was left by myself for a few hours with all three kids (AHHH!). Abby and Ella of course were both crying. Ella just wanted to be held, but Abby needed a little more attention. I picked them both up and proceeded to bounce them, trying to sooth their crying. Finally, after about ten minutes, and no luck, Cade asked if he could hold a baby. I thought, sure what the heck. I gave him Ella, and they sat on the couch together. For at least the next hour, he held her and loved her, and I was able to get Abby calmed down. He would talk to her and pat her on the tummy when she w0uld fuss a little, saying, "It's ok. I gotcha. I gotcha!" He even needed a burp cloth "in case she spits." What a great big brother (and a great helper to mom!)!!

Hi Jen, this is Becky Stratford. Sometimes after a crazy day I love to relax and check out blogs and I found yours and was so excited to see these precious little girls!! They are beautiful! I am glad that your little guy is a big helper, I think when they feel needed it helps their adjusting to not being the only child!! Best of everything to you and your litte family!
